Hillsdale Summer Concerts Start July 10
The weekly concerts run through August 28.
The Hillsdale Recreation Department is holding their second annual summer concert series starting July 10.
The concerts will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays in Veterans Park on the corner of Broadway and Hillsdale Avenue through August 28.
The full schedule for this year's concerts:
- July 10, Willie Wilson and the Willies
- July 17, The Tenors Onstage with Peter Greco
- July 24, Diamond Jim and The Gems
- July 31, acoustic duo Jeff & Karen
- Aug. 7, Doctor Dubious and the Agnostics
- Aug. 14, Skyline Crossing
- Aug. 21, Easy Listening
- Aug. 28, Alan Quinn Band
Elizabeth Ward, a recreation department volunteer who organizes the concert series, said she wanted to thank the event's sponsors and noted that many local restaurants will be offering special deals during the concerts.
Also during the concerts, donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for the Helping Hands Food Pantry.
Westwood is also hosting summer concerts in Veterans' Memorial Park on Washington Avenue. Those concerts run on Thursdays and Fridays through July. Check out the full schedule here.
