Hillsdale Fright Night Returning to Beechwood Park

The October 19 event will raise money for Hillsdale's Cub Scouts.

Chillsdale's annual Fright Night is returning to Screechwood Park October 19.

The event, which is in Hillsdale's Beechwood Park for those who aren't fans of Crypt Keeper puns, features both scary and non-scary paths for through the transformed park. There will also be food, a bouncy house and jack-o'-lantern display.

The scary path features frightening characters like "Chainsaw Guy" and other surprises, while the non-scary path has friendlier costumed characters like superheroes for younger children.

Tickets cost $5 and money raised goes to support the activities and community service the Cub Scout Packs 81 and 331 participate in each year.

The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. For more info, check out Fright Night's Facebook page.
