'Have a Heart' Collecting Gifts For Westwood Families

The drive will run from November 27 to December 11.

A group of Westwood residents are collecting gifts for local families in need of assistance, starting next week.

The annual "Have a Heart" drive started in 2001 and gives residents a chance to help out other families during the holidays. Anyone who wants to buy a gift for someone can visit the Westwood municipal building starting November 27 to get a paper heart — or several — which states the age and gender of the recipient.

Then, just buy the gift and drop it off, along with a roll of wrapping paper and tape, back at the municipal building by December 11. Participants don't need to wrap the gifts themselves, it's part of the fun for the families.

Anyone with questions can call 201-723-0217.
