St. Andrew's Church, located at 120
Washington Avenue in Westwood, NJ will be accepting donations for the victims
of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Donations may be dropped off at the Parish
Center, whose entrance is in the rear parking lot, from Monday through Friday
10am to 4pm. The collection will begin on Monday, November 18th, and
end on Tuesday, November 26th. Anyone wishing to donate money shuld make their
checks payable to St. Andrew's Church with a notation on it that it is for
Philippine relief.
The following new or gently used clean items are needed : summer clothes – shorts, t-shirts, pants, jeans, tops, baby clothes, summer weight sweaters or jackets, bed sheets and pillowcases, pillows, lightweight blankets,
umbrellas, shoes, socks, sneakers, flip flops, rain boots, towels, wash cloths, flashlights, batteries and manual can openers. Items should be placed in
heavyweight plastic bags or a box and labeled as to its contents.
