On September 8, we will be taking a rare expedition on the Woodcliff Lake
Reservoir and its environs, on the maiden voyage of Bergen SWAN’s new rental fleet of kayaks and canoes. Constructed in 1903 by a damming of the Pascack Brook, this 16 acre, 871 million gallon capacity reservoir is an essential component of our water supply system. It is host to a wide variety of wildlife, including bald eagle, many species of fish, and even an occasional bear!
Please
join our Watershed Educator, Nancy Slowik, on a first, fascinating exploration
of this neck of the watershed.
Fees
are $20/person to rent a canoe or kayak, or $30 to bring your own boat. Call us at 201-666-1877,
