A traffic stop on the Palisades Interstate Parkway Thursday led police to the arrest of a gang member with 100 bags of heroin concealed in his anus, authorities said. A former Fairleigh Dickinson University professor linked to a neo-Nazi group has filed a civil rights lawsuit alleging he and his wife were victims of police brutality during a 2011 raid of his Ridgewood apartment. Fair Lawn resident and rap mogul Jim Jones was arrested Wednesday after he "got out of line" with an officer who was handling a parking complaint in front of the Dipset founder's Ward Street home, police said. Three members of a Bergen County burglary ring known as the “James Bond Gang” were arrested after they broke into and ransacked a Sparta residence Wednesday, Township Police Sgt. John-Paul Beebe said. The alleged gang is believed to be responsible for dozens of burglaries of high-end homes in Morris and Somerset counties, as well as other parts of the tri-state area. Two Paterson men and one woman from North Haledon were arrested Friday night after orchestrating a plot to rob the woman's boss — the owner of a popular Wyckoff pizzeria — but failing after a gun accidentally discharged in front of the business owner's home, according to police. A deaf and elderly dachshund disappeared on Christmas Eve from Paula Gilligan's Glen Rock yard and remains missing. The owner suspects the dog — not known to take off — was snatched. A man wearing a ski mask and brandishing an automatic handgun robbed a Franklin Lakes GameStop Wednesday night, according to police.
