Washington Township Holds Tree Lighting

The annual celebration was held partially indoors because of rain.

Washington Township held its annual tree lighting celebration at the Municipal Complex Sunday evening. The event was a little different from previous township tree lightings. Guests listened to singers indoors because of a rainstorm and Santa was brought to the celebration by an ambulance instead of the traditional fire truck because the Washington Township Fire Department had to respond to an emergency call.
