Quiet honestly 12yrs ago. I was looking for a fitness center near WT. My first stop was the Y, Because I previously belonged to a Y, I thought I could drop by to be more informed about the areas fitness centers. So, as to make an informed choice.
Well, I was at the front desk and had to wait for the recieptions had a few minutes. She kept looking my way and after a short while she looked at me kind of suspicously. Very business like. I definetly did not feel welcome. How can help you. Then she looked away when one of the members came in behind me without an appoligy. After she was through with the member she addressed me. I asked if I could have a tour and information pertaining to membership dues. She replied "I have no time right now you'll have to come back again another time. I asked if I can make a appointment. She, said we realy don't do tours. So, I said how do you ask for dues without a tour. I've never heard of anything like that. She replied this may not be what your looking for. So, at that note I left. Knowing full well I wasn't welcomed. Needless to say I never went back.

I have enjoyed programs here - especially the swim program for kids! I find it to be an inclusive and fun environment.

I cannot speak for this particular institution because I'm not an employee there, but to the reviewer who cited the hours of operation and being disappointed about it being closed on Saturdays - it's most likely closed on Saturdays (and early on Fridays) because of observance of the Jewish Sabbath. Same reason many other businesses are closed on Sundays (think about the origin of the blue laws in Bergen County).
