Schools Open, Sept. 11 Ceremonies, Golden Age Theater Hearing This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.
Westwood Regional, Hillsdale and Pascack Valley Regional students start a new school year Monday.

Hillsdale will offer free blood pressure screenings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the borough hall.
The Hillsdale Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the borough hall. The meeting will include a hearing for the borough's application for a Bergen County Open Space grant at 8 p.m.
Washington Township will hold a Sept. 11 memorial ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in front of the town hall.
Hillsdale will dedicate the new Sept. 11 memorial with a piece of steel from the World Trade Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday and hold a candlelight ceremony at 7:30 p.m. in Veterans Park.
The Hillsdale Planning Board is expected to continue hearing an application for a sober living home on Magnolia Avenue at their meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the borough hall.
