'Rooting For Ruta' Blood Drive, Christmas Tree Sale, Condo Hearing This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.
The Washington Township Fire Department is selling Christmas trees, wreath, roping, grave blankets and other Christmas accessories from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. through Dec. 24. This year marks the department's 55th sale.
Job search support and networking group Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Westwood Library.
The Westwood Zoning Board is scheduled to continue hearing an application to build a new five-unit condo building on Crest Street during their meeting this week. The board meets at 8 p.m. Monday in the borough municipal building. The agenda is available here.

The Hillsdale Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in borough hall.
The Washington Township Planning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the township municipal building. The agenda is available here.
The Westwood Planning Board meets at 8 p.m. Thursday in the borough municipal building. They are scheduled to vote on resolutions for Bank of America, Westwood Car Care and Ginger and Cream. The agenda is available here.
The Woman's Club of Westwood will host a holiday boutique from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Hillsdale will host a "Rooting For Ruta" blood drive from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Appointments can be made here.
