Candidate Forum, Halloween Parades This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.
The League of Women Voters is holding a forum for the state Senate and Assembly candidates from District 39 (that includes Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Twp., among other towns) at the Mahwah Senior Center on Corporate Drive at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The Washington Township Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the township municipal building. The agenda is available here.
The Westwood Planning Board meets at 8 p.m. Thursday in the borough municipal building. The agenda is available here.
Hillsdale is holding a Halloween parade starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at borough hall.
Westwood is holding a Halloween parade starting at 10 a.m. Saturday in Veterans' Memorial Park.
Washington Township is holding a Halloween parade starting at 10 a.m. Saturday on Finnerty Place.
Residents of Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township can drop off old, unwanted medicine at their respective police departments from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
