Westwood Council, Hillsdale Planning Board Meetings Canceled

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning lasting until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Two local government meetings scheduled for Tuesday night were canceled due to the snow storm.

The Westwood Council and Hillsdale Planning Board both canceled their meetings, according to notices from the borough governments.

Neither body immediately set a date for a rescheduled meeting.

The first screening in this year's "Green Screen" film festival, originally scheduled for Tuesday night, was also rescheduled to Jan. 28 due to the storm.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning lasting until 6 a.m. Wednesday, predicting between 6 and 10 inches of snow could fall in the area.
