Ramapo Taking on Pascack Valley in Undefeated Matchup

The two 7-0 teams will face each other in Hillsdale Friday night.

The Pascack Valley Indians will host the Ramapo Raiders Friday in a game that will hand one of the teams their first loss of the season.

Both varsity football teams are ranked at the top of their respective groups and coming into the match with identical 7-0 records.

Ramapo's defense has only let in eight touchdowns this season, compared to 12 for Pascack Valley. Both teams have been fairly consistent with scoring. The Raiders have made a total of 277 points, while the Indians are close behind with 275.

Pascack Valley Coach Craig Nielsen was also recently picked by the New York Jets as their high school coach of the week.

The Indians beat the Raiders twice last season, giving Ramapo their first loss of the season in Franklin Lakes and later knocking them out of the playoffs in Hillsdale.
