Westwood Regional Students Win "Respect Week" Contest

The design and slogan will be used for Westwood Regional Middle School's "Respect Week."

Westwood Regional Middle School students Olivia Kramer, Keyly Gomez and Andrew Loverich recently won the school's "Respect Week" slogan and design contest.

Students voted which entry was their favorite. The winning slogan will be posted around the school for the entire school year and will be turned into a magnet that all students will display in their lockers.

Respect Week was created as part of New Jersey's 2011 anti-bullying law. Westwood Regional Middle School implements a number of anti-bullying programs, including the Positive Behavior Support in Schools program, which rewards students for being "accountable, empathetic and successful."
