Westwood Regional, Hillsdale, Pascack Valley Schools Closed Friday
5 to 9 inches of snow were predicted in Bergen County, according to the National Weather Service.
Westwood Regional, Hillsdale K-8 and Pascack Valley Regional schools will be closed Friday, officials from all three districts announced Thursday evening.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning lasting until 1 p.m. Friday, with 5 to 9 inches of snow predicted.
Gov. Chris Christie declared a State of Emergency and all non-essential state and county employees were told to stay home Friday.
Garbage pick-up in Westwood and recycling pick-up in Washington Township originally scheduled for Friday were also both rescheduled.
