Westwood Regional High Holds 'Mix-It-Up Day'

The day's programs encouraged students to "break boundaries and promote diversity."

The National Junior Honor Society recently sponsored a "Mix-It-Up Day" event at Westwood Regional Jr./Sr. High School.

The program encouraged students to “break boundaries and promote diversity” by taking simple actions like sitting with someone new at lunch and making new friends. Several school clubs, including Interact, the National Honor Society, the Spanish and French Honor Societies, the E-Club, Student Council, and Academic Decathlon also participated.

"Mix-It-Up Day" is a national program organized by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
