Hillsdale Board of Education member Debbie Loganchuk announced Monday that she planned to resign from the board as of March 1.
Loganchuk said she felt it was "time to move on" as her children have grown up. She has been a member of the board since March 2006.
"It's been a wonderful experience," Loganchuk said.
Board President James Hayden said Loganchuk brought a "unique, wonderful perspective" to the district.
To find a replacement, the board will place ads looking for interested candidates, then the board will interview the applicants and pick one.
