Hillsdale School Board Searching For New Member
The deadline to submit a letter of interest is February 4.
The Hillsdale Board of Education is looking for a new member to replace Debbie Loganchuk, who announced this week she will be resigning her seat in March.
According to a notice posted on the district's website, candidates "must be registered voters who have lived in the district for at least a year, they must be able to read and write, cannot hold a contract with or claim against the school district, and have not been convicted of any crimes referenced in NJ Title 18A:12-1."
Board members are responsible for voting on a variety of issues affecting borough schools, including policies, personnel, finances and curriculum.

Anyone interested in applying should send a resume and letter of interest to School Business Administrator and Board Secretary Lirca Garcia at the Anthony S. De Norchia Administration Building, 32 Ruckman Rd., Hillsdale, NJ 07642.
The deadline to apply is February 4.
