Developer Plans Eight-House Subdivision in Hillsdale

The property is located on the west side of the Parkway and is currently unoccupied.

A developer has plans to build a new eight-house subdivision on an unoccupied Hillsdale property.

Zarsion Jinhui, LLC of Glen Rock has applied to Hillsdale for approval of the site plan and proposal to subdivide the 230,267-square-foot property into eight lots and a new road.

The property is located on the corner of Wierimus Road and Van Emburgh Avenue. It stretches to the border of Washington Township.

The proposed road would start at Wierimus and end in a cul-de-sac on the applicant's property.

There are currently several plans for new housing before the Hillsdale Planning Board besides this new subdivision. On Patterson Street, a developer has applied to build a new 57-unit apartment building.

An application for a 37-unit senior housing development on Ell Road also recently returned to the board after spending years in court with an objector.

Another plan, to build a 36-unit apartment building on Orchard Avenue, is currently in litigation after that developer appealed the board's rejection of his plan.
