Westwood, Hillsdale Government Offices Closed

Several inches of snow fell overnight.

Local government offices in Westwood and Hillsdale were closed Friday due to the snow storm, officials announced.

In Washington Township, some employees were working, but not all departments were open.

Several inches of snow fell in the area overnight after the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning lasting until 1 p.m. Friday. Between 6 and 10 inches of snow were predicted as of Friday morning.

County and state government offices, as well as local schools were also closed Friday due to the storm. Gov. Chris Christie declared a State of Emergency Thursday.
