A month-long investigation culminated Wednesday with the arrest of a 21-year-old Teaneck man who had been dealing prescription pain killers to undercover detectives at the Garden State Plaza, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said.

Soloman Newman Jr., who also goes by "Ace" and Bundles," was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (Oxycodone) and possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone.

According to Prosecutor John Molinelli, Newman distributed 16 suspected Oxycodone pills during the month of March to an undercover detective from the Bergen County Narcotic Task Force for $250 at the Garden State Plaza.

An undercover detective arranged to purchase $250 worth of Oxycodone pills from Newman on Wednesday at the mall, Molinelli said. Newman was arrested at the mall before meeting the detective and was found in possession of 20 suspected Oxycodone pills.

Newton was charged and released pending a court appearance on Thursday.
