Hillsdale Police Holding Another 'Coffee With a Cop'

Residents can get free coffee and discuss issues with police officers.

Hillsdale Police are planning to hold a second "coffee with a cop" event this month.

Police officers will visit the Starbucks on Broadway from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 19 to take questions and address any issues that residents may have for them, according to Chief Chip Stalter.

Police held their first event in June after hearing about a similar program in Hawthorne, Calif.

"We encourage people to come down," Detective Adam Hampton previously said. "There's not going to be any question that's too large or too small."
