KISS-Masked Vandals Trash 25 Cars at Body Shop, Report Says

Saddle Brook Police are asking for help in identifying the vandals.

Saddle Brook Police are looking for four vandals who they say dressed up in masks emulating the look of the rock band KISS, and damaged at least 25 cars at a township auto body shop last weekend, nj.com reported.

According to the report, the four masked men were caught on tape using metal pipes, a shovel, a fire extinguisher and white spray paint to smash in and deface cars parked at SB Maaco Auto Body off North Fifth Street. The quartet caused over $40,000 in damage, the report said.

The vandals broke windshields and windows, dented the cars, spray-painted profanities on the cars, and caused interior damage, the report said.

Cops told nj.com the four were in their teens or early 20s, and wearing white masks with a black star on the eye, like KISS guitarist Paul Stanley’s make-up.

Police are looking for help in IDing the vandals. Anyone with information is asked to call Saddle Brook detectives at 201-587-2940.
