300 Bags of Food Donated to Drive

Food from the drive went to the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Hillsdale.

The annual food drive held by the Knights of Columbus in Washington Township collected more than 300 bags of food and cash for a local food pantry.

Knights and local Boy Scouts collected the donations and brought them to the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Hillsdale, which serves hundreds of Pascack Valley residents.

"This was another successful food drive," Jim McPeak, the food drive chairman, said in a press release. "Our residents were once again their usual generous selves donating more than 300 bags of food and non-perishable items."
