Pascack Historical Society FREE Open House Events

Come Celebrate NJ's 350th Anniversary
Pascack Historical Society invites the public to its museum to enjoy the first of several events that will be held throughout the year to mark the 350th anniversary of the founding of New Jersey.

The Society's "Teen Historians" will be docents of the new display, "New Jersey in the Beginning—1664-2014." The display showcases five of the Society's prized artifacts, some of which date back to the 1700s. The "Teen Historians"—Ariana Aguero, Pascack Valley High School; Lydon Kersting, Academy of the Holy Angels; Abbie and Grace Martin, Immaculate Heart; and Will Wise, Park Ridge High School—have each adopted an artifact and will be able to tell visitors about them and answer questions.

They will be on hand from 1-4pm. On the same day, starting at 2pm, there will be another event when Michael Nevins, M.D., will speak about a chapter in his book, STILL MORE Meanderings in Medical History, the last of a trilogy of collected essays.

Both events are free; complimentary coffee and cake will be offered.
