Westwood's Sarabou Bakery Closing

The French-style bakery plans to relocate, but doesn't have a location yet.

Sarabou Bakery will be closing at the end of the week, Boozy Burbs reported.

The bakery, which opened last March, offered a variety of breads, pastries and lunch items like soup and sandwiches from Aboudramane Kone, a baker trained in France.

On their Facebook page, Sarabou's owners wrote they were considering moving to New York, or another location closer to the city. They told Boozy Burbs they hoped to open the new shop within a few months.

Kone told Patch last year that they had also considered locations in Ridgewood, Englewood and New York before settling on Westwood.
