Westwood Hospital Holding Presidents Day Job Fair

HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley is scheduled to open June 1.

HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley is holding an employment open house for anyone interested in applying for jobs there from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

The hospital has hired about 50 employees so far and will fill about 300 positions by the time they open June 1, according to hospital rep Lauren Zaccardi Samman. There are openings in many departments, including pharmacy, case management, laboratory, radiology, materials management, respiratory therapy, emergency department, risk management, security, plant operations, finance, nursing managers, staff nurses, housekeeping and food services.

A previous employment open house drew more than 900 interested applicants.

Hospital CEO Chad Melton said in a press release that they were "excited to continue the momentum in our hiring process and to develop an energetic team that is eager to serve the Pascack and Northern Valley community.”

Melton previously told Patch that renovations to the hospital were about 90 percent complete.
