New Owners Reopening Five Corner Convenience

The Westwood Avenue store could be open for business again as soon as next week.

Five Corner Convenience Store, which closed a few months ago, will reopen as soon as next week under the new ownership of brothers Anand Dadawala and Apurva Rathod.

Dadawala said the store, located on the corner of Westwood and Center Avenues, will feature groceries and other standard convenience store fare, as well a large selection of cigars and cigarettes at state-low prices. They are also adding fresh coffee, a slushie machine, ATM and offering fax and copying services.

The brothers hope the store will become a friendly stop for people in downtown Westwood, according to Dadawala.

"It's a great location in a nice neighborhood with friendly people," Dadawala said.

The store's interior is currently undergoing renovations and the brothers are stocking the shelves with new products. If everything goes well, it should open next week.
