Hospital CEO Promises Private Rooms, Freebies, Report Says

HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley is scheduled to open next year.

Patients at HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley won't have to worry about paying for parking or cable T.V., according to a report on NJ.com.

Hospital CEO Chad Melton — — also said that HUMC at Pascack Valley will feature private rooms and bathrooms, according to the report.

“This is a region that will benefit immensely from having high quality, customer-focused care closer to home, Melton previously said.

Melton, who has a Masters in Health Administration from Texas State University, is preparing to open the hospital early next year. He is coming to the hospital from LHP, the Texas-based company which partnered with HackensackUMC to reopen the former Pascack Valley Hospital.

When it opens, HUMC at Pascack Valley will have 128 beds, along with several specialized units. There is currently an emergency room open at the site.
