Black Friday Deals Offered at Westwood Businesses

Local stores are having special deals for the year's busiest shopping day.

While many shoppers will be lining up early at big malls to buy their holiday gifts on sale Friday, some local stores are also offering deals and specials to draw customers to Westwood.

KMart in Westwood Plaza is offering deals on toys, electronics, tools, jewelry, clothes and home decor. 

The Gap on Westwood Avenue will be selling select items for 60 percent off.

Some locally-owned businesses also have specials for Black Friday.

Blooming Hearts Treasure Shop will have 10 percent off everything in the store on Black Friday, as well as every Thursday and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. for the rest of the year.

Music Merchant will have hard-to-find new records in stock specifically released for Black Friday, including new Beach Boys, Grateful Dead and Judas Priest albums and singles from Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Leonard Cohen and The Shins.

Society Men will be working with Sogno Coffeehouse to create a new "Society Crepe" with nutella and banana. The store will also have new NFL and holiday clothes, as well as jewelry so dads can get something for their daughters without going to the mall.

LN Grand and True Value Hardware will have all their normal deals and will remain open late until 9 p.m. Friday.
