Check Out Westwood Regional Schools' Facilities Upgrades

Photos of the work can be viewed in an online presentation.

Westwood and Washington Township residents who want to get a look at some of the Westwood Regional Schools facilities improvements done in-house over the past year can now see photos of the work, thanks to a slideshow posted on the district's website.

The slideshow is online here.

Buildings and grounds Director Dean D'Agostino presented his annual "state of the district facilities" report to the school board during their most recent meeting, using the above slideshow as part of the presentation. Several videos included in the original presentation are not available in the online version, but all of the photos are included.

The projects included the installation of new tile floors and waterless urinals at the Brookside and George School bathrooms, a fresh paint job for the walls and sanding/re-sealing of the floor in the high school's upper gym, renovations of the upper gym locker rooms, renovations to space in Washington School and the new fountain and courtyard at the highs school, among others.

Performing the work in-house allows the district to save money that they would have had to spend on contractors, officials said.
