Watch a Washington Twp. Resident's Stop Motion Animation

Kevin Murphy used energy from his obsessive-compulsive disorder to film all 3,000 frames over three years.

Washington Township resident Kevin Murphy, 26, completed a 3,000-frame stop motion animation film titled "Evolution" earlier this year.

It took Murphy, who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, three years to complete the project, according to a report in the Pascack Valley Community Life.

Murphy turned his "OCD energy" into an advantage by using it to complete the film, which represents his struggle with the disorder, according to the report.
