New Children's Programs Coming to Washington Twp. Library

The library will also be offering college prep workshops for teens.

The Washington Township Library is set to introduce several new programs for children this fall.

For children ages 6 and older, a Lego league will be held on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. starting September 17. The event is BYOB (the last B is for bricks).

Little Shanti Yoga classes will be held for children ages 2 to 4 years on Mondays at 11:30 a.m. starting September 23.

Children ages 5 and older can participate in the "crafternoons" craft program on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. starting September 25.

The programs require advance registration.

For college-bound teens, the library is planning to hold a series of college prep workshops with Joshua Marber. The events include "choosing the right college" September 30 at 6:30 p.m., "paying for college" October 15 at 6:30 p.m. and "applying to college" on September 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. and October 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.
