Lou Spina Exhibiting Art at Washington Twp. Library

The Washington Township resident has won numerous awards for his art.

Washington Township resident Lou Spina will be displaying some of his artwork at the township library during September.

Spina's work incorporates a variety of subjects, including human and animal portraits, conceptual art, cityscapes, still life and landscape paintings.

Some of Spina's pieces have won awards including AAPL’s 83rd Grand National Exhibition, Frank C. Wright Medal of Honor, several Bergen County Senior Juried Art Show first prize awards in oil painting and drawing, the National Arts Program Mt. Sinai Hospital third place award in oil painting, Pascack Art Association Members Show, Best in Show award twice and a couple of honorable mention and high achievement awards.

Spina is also an active member of the local art community, serving as vice president of the Pascack Art Association, a board member of the Art Center of Northern NJ and a board member of the American Artists Professional League.
