Pothole Problems: Where Are the Worst Road Craters in the Area?

Harsh winter has wreaked havoc on New Jersey roadways.

It's been a rough winter.

From snow days at school to salt shortages throughout the state, towns have had to deal with the inclement weather on a daily basis.

With the heavy snow and ice accumulations over the past couple of months, roads may have suffered the most, as small cracks in the pavement a few weeks ago have become tire-busting craters nearly impossible to avoid.

Each town has its share of notoriously bad potholes drivers try to avoid for fear of a blowout, or even worse.

So, which roads have the worst potholes in town? Let us know in the comments.

Do you realize that the salt that was needed for this metropolitan area was stuck on a barge in Maine?

Don't get me started on these chasms on the roadway. My biggest complaint is that half of Washington Ave. leading into Westwood is the biggest offender. I'm bound to break a tie rod or my axle even dodging these hazards. And when that day comes I'll make sure the town fits the bill.

Rivervale Road near the intersection of Old Tappan Road. I heard it is slated to be repaired but it can't come soon enough. Also Old Hook Road in Emerson getting bad.
