“Part of the mission of the NJFSAB is to teach our community about the dangers of fire and the life saving capabilities of fire sprinkler systems,” said David Kurasz, executive Director of the New Jersey Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board. “There is no better way to do that than by education our children on fire safety and prevention. This contest provides us with an opportunity to further spread our mission and message among the youth in our community. Young people have an incredible way of seeing things, and the essay contest becomes as much a learning experience for the judges as it is for the participants.”
