Westwood Officials to Consider Taxi, Limo Law Change Tuesday

The Westwood Council meets at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the borough municipal building.

The Westwood Council is scheduled during their meeting Tuesday to introduce a pair of new ordinances repealing the town's laws for taxis and limos and creating new separate rules for each.

Officials had previously discussed changing the rules to allow taxi companies — there's just one based in Westwood — to charge zone-based fares instead of meter-based fares.
