Police Enforcing Halloween Curfew Thursday

The 9 p.m. curfew for children will continue Thursday for Halloween.

Westwood and Washington Township Police will continue enforcing the 9 p.m. curfew Thursday for Halloween.

The curfew was also enforced Wednesday night in an effort to prevent vandalism.

The curfew will include a "zero tolerance" policy toward acts of criminal mischief, trespassing and aggressive behavior, according to police. Anyone caught defacing property will be charged.

Any children who are found out after the curfew will be brought into the respective town's police headquarters and only released to a parent or guardian.
