BP's Revised Plans on Planning Board Agenda Wednesday

The Washington Township Planning Board is scheduled to hear several applications during their meeting.

Revised plans for BP's proposal to reopen the former Washington Avenue Getty gas station are scheduled on the Washington Township Planning Board's agenda Wednesday.

The board previously approved the plan to reopen the gas station, but officials later raised concerns about the possible inclusion of diesel fuel at the site.

It makes it a truck stop," board Vice Chair Bernard Golick previously said.

Last year, the township zoning board voted against allowing the nearby 5 Star Gas to sell diesel.

The board is also scheduled to hear applications for a new house on Webster Avenue and a real estate office to be opened in a Colonial Boulevard home during the meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m. in the township municipal building. The agenda is available here.
