My wife, daughter, and I continue our "assimilation" into this place called Westwood by participating in the Carnival @ the Westwood Mall on Broadway.  We had no problem laying down the $25 for our daughter's wristband so she could enjoy any and all rides.  The proceeds go to the Westwood (Volunteer) Ambulance Corps.

Having been involved with the Fire Department in my previous location (as the Chaplain, not an active firefighter), I respect the men and women who provide emergency services in all communities.  It just so happens that Westwood is our present community.

Depending on when this blog post goes to "press," there still should be a couple of days left to attend the Carnival.  But don't worry about spending $25 as it is FREE to enter.
