Washington Twp. Runner Wins Silver Medal

Tara Keegan, a co-captain of Muhlenberg College's indoor track and field team, ran in the 4x400-meter relay at the Centennial Conference Championships.

 

Tara Keegan, a Washington Township resident and Westwood Regional grad, recently won a silver medal at the Centennial Conference Championships at Ursinus College.

Keegan and her team from Muhlenberg College came in second in the 4x400-meter relay with a finish time of 4:10.22. She also ran in the 4x200-meter relay, in which the team finished fourth. 

Muhlenberg's team ended up in a tie for second place in the championships.

Keegan, a senior, is double majoring in English and history. She was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for her success both on and off the track. It is her fifth straight season receiving this recognition.
