Sogno Coffeehouse recently held a grand opening celebration.

The event included free samples, music and a ribbon-cutting at the European-style coffee bar, which is located on Broadway near Westwood Avenue.

John and Alissa Vitale took inspiration from their honeymoon for Sogno, which is Italian for "dream." They roast fresh coffee beans daily with their one-of-a-kind roaster and make crepes from traditional Parisian recipes.

Sogno is THE place for anyone who loves great coffee, crepes, and good company! The moment you step inside, you feel as though you're in a European coffee house with great friends who are always glad to welcome you in. The freshly-made crepes are delicious and go perfectly with their own brand of coffee that's roasted right there in the shop. Sogno is an absolute gem and Westwood is very fortunate to have it!

It's in the original spot where Goldberg's was, next to Lisa's Pizza.
