'Rover and Clover' 5K, Dog Walk in Hillsdale Sunday

The eighth annual event coincides with St. Patrick's Day.

 

The eighth annual "Rover and Clover" 5K run/walk and dog walk is happening in Hillsdale this weekend, according to the race's website.

Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Meadowbrook School on Piermont Avenue and the 5K starts at 9 a.m. across the street at Stonybrook.

Dogs are welcome at the event as long as they licensed and "social with other dogs and people."

Registration for the event is $21 in advance, $23 the day of or $15 for children under 18. Money raised will benefit the Hillsdale Grammar School Technology Programs and the Pascack Valley High School Scholarship Fund.

There will also be a collection of paper goods and non-perishable food for the food pantry.
