Kisa is a domestic, short hair, black and white 10-year old cat who came to the shelter when her owner’s fiance moved in and had severe allergies to the cat. She has lived indoors her entire life and likes to be pet and held. Kisa is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia. Can you open your heart to this senior girl and help her spend her golden years in a home and not in a cage? ID#88154 Bergen County Animal Shelter

Talk about a fan favorite; Rusty, a pit bull terrier, has most definitely touched all at the shelter. Such a gentleman, he is such a mush and asks for attention in all the right ways. This 6-7 year old was given to the shelter because the person who found him, couldn't have him. A family who wants a constant companion is being sought for him. This love bug will give you his heart within seconds and will let you have it. Once you meet this adorable fella, you will fall in love and you won't be able to say goodbye. ID#88153
Handsome and a whole lot of fun, Archie is ready to be a part of your life. This four year old came to the shelter with a female husky because his owners could no longer care for him. Independent yet social, Archie will need a good sized home who has experience or good knowledge of the breed. Because huskies are working dogs, he will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation.. Archie will make a great companion for a family looking for an active and intelligent pooch. ID# 88191
Smart and receptive, Kiya is eager to please her handler and will look to them for reassurance. Although aroused by and alert of her surroundings, she is easily distracted and listens fairly well to those who are walking her. Because she is so mindful, she will probably be a pleasure to train. Because she may be unsure at times, she will need time to acclimate to her new home and family. Once she has built some trust with her new adopters, she should be properly socialized with strangers and different environments. The more comfortable she feels with people, the less stressed she will be when she meets new house guests. ID#88082
Minnina came to the shelter with 2 other cats. She is a nice 3 year old calico cat. She is a little nervous in her new surroundings, but we feel once she adjusts her true colors will shine through. Minnina gets along with other shelter cats. ID# 88264
