Hospital CEO Promises Private Rooms, Freebies, Report Says
HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley is scheduled to open next year.
Patients at HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley won't have to worry about paying for parking or cable T.V., according to a report on NJ.com.
Hospital CEO Chad Melton — who was appointed to the position last month — also said that HUMC at Pascack Valley will feature private rooms and bathrooms, according to the report.
“This is a region that will benefit immensely from having high quality, customer-focused care closer to home, Melton previously said.
Melton, who has a Masters in Health Administration from Texas State University, is preparing to open the hospital early next year. He is coming to the hospital from LHP, the Texas-based company which partnered with HackensackUMC to reopen the former Pascack Valley Hospital.
When it opens, HUMC at Pascack Valley will have 128 beds, along with several specialized units. There is currently an emergency room open at the site.
State officials approved the plan to reopen the hospital earlier this year.

What the community wants to know is whether or not former PVH employees will be given fair consideration when applying for open positions thereat?
Let's not let Lou Ycre's failings be held against the loyal employees who made this facility what it was to the community!

I heard that everyone who applies will be given the same considerations, whether you worked for PVH in the past or not.

I worked at the former PVH hospital for 19 years. I helped start their Print Shop. Formerly, I had my own print shop for 25 years in Hunterdon County. Would like to be of service at new HMC at Pascack Valley if you have need of my services in any capacity. Not looking for much money, just want to work; full or part time.
