Hillsdale Rec Basketball Raising Money For Parkinson's Disease

The event will include a skills challenge and book signings with professional basketball player J.R. Inman.

 

Hillsdale Recreation Basketball is holding a fundraiser for Parkinson's disease March 9.

The "Play For Parkinson's Team Kohan Fundraiser” will include a skills challenge with lay ups, free throws and three-pointers for children in grades two through ten. There will be a winner picked for each grade level.

J.R. Inman, who played for Rutgers and professional teams in the Czech Republic and Japan, will also be attending the event and signing copies of his book, When the Air Comes Out of the Ball.

Donations are $5 per player to compete in the event.

The fundraiser will take place at George G. White Middle School March 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
