Elizabeth Fasciano Dies at 7
The Westwood resident had battled brain cancer since she was 13 months old.
Elizabeth Fasciano, the 7-year-old Westwood girl who residents had rallied to support, died Sunday, according to her obituary.
Elizabeth was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was 13 months old and underwent numerous treatments during her life.
She is survived by her parents, two sisters, grandparents and aunts and uncles.
The visitation has been scheduled for 2-5 p.m. and 7:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. The funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, followed by internment at the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
The Fasciano family has asked that donations be made to Camp Sunshine or the Seimei Foundation in Elizabeth's name in lieu of flowers.

I am so very sad to hear about the passing of young Elizabeth Fasciano. I have read about her in the local papers over time and my heart goes out to her family. My son has a serious disease and understand what her parents have gone through and the strength they needed to be there for Elizabeth. My prayers are with this family.
