Anais Boutique Opens in Westwood

The women's clothing store moved to Westwood Avenue from its former location in Ridgewood.

Shoppers searching for women's clothes in downtown Westwood have one more stop to make.

Anais Boutique opened in the former location of News: What When Wear Thursday. The store carries moderately-priced contemporary women's clothing, including some items imported from Europe, according to owner Aiden Tolouie.

The selection ranges from $18 t-shirts to coats and sweaters at about $80, Tolouie said. The store also carries a wide variety of stylish belts, he said.

They also offer personal help with wardrobes by appointment.

"We want people to feel good in their clothes," Tolouie said.

The store originally opened in Ridgewood, but Tolouie decided to move because the high rent didn't pan out with enough customers, he previously told Patch. Tolouie said he thought Westwood could be a better fit for Anais because it is more fashion-oriented and has better parking.

"Westwood is more appealing as a town," Tolouie said.

Anais also has locations in Westfield and Morristown.

Anais is located at 170 Westwood Avenue in Westwood.
